George Bush Intercontinental Airport is located approximately 22 miles north of downtown Houston.
Passengers wishing to rent a car will find all the agencies are based in the Rental Car Center, which can be reached by shuttle bus in about 5 minutes. The Houston Metropolitan Transit Authority (METRO) operates a local bus service that connects the airport with downtown Houston. Taxis are available from each terminal outside the Baggage Claim/Arrivals area.

William P. Hobby Airport is situated approximately 11 miles southeast of Houston city center.
Ten major rental agencies operate from William P. Hobby Airport and most are located in the Baggage Claim area. If you wish to take public transportation, the Houston Metropolitan Transit Authority (METRO) operates a service to the city center. Taxis can be picked up outside the Baggage Claim/Arrivals area.
