Flights to San Antonio land at the San Antonio International Airport, the primary airport of the city. Ground transportation can be found outside of Terminals A and B (baggage claim area). To reach downtown San Antonio, you can use taxi cabs operated by five companies at the airport. Groups may also be transported using chartered buses. Several hotels offer complimentary shuttles so you might want to check in advance if your accommodation offers one. If taking public transport, you can take the VIA Metropolitan Transit (use Route 5) to downtown San Antonio; the journey lasts about half an hour.
