Bahamasair was founded in 1973 and is the official carrier of the country. It is based out of the Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau, Bahamas. The airline operates flights throughout the Caribbean (Bahamas, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos) and to a few destinations in North America (Florida, Maryland, Ohio).
