The Madrid–Barajas Airport is the major airport serving the city of Madrid. To get to the city center, you can use the metro, bus, train or taxi. Use metro line 8 in any of the terminals to reach Madrid Metro at the city center. The trip lasts around 15 minutes and you can transfer to metro lines 6 or 10 to go further.
There are also airport buses with only three stops: Plaza de Cibeles, the corner of O'Donnell and Doctor Esquerdo. To use the train to get to the city center, take the Metro from Terminal T4 which stops at Chamartín, Nuevos Ministerios, Atocha or Príncipe Pío stations.
