It is located about seven miles from the city center. The airport has two main terminals, which features top-notch services including restaurants, banks, retail outlets with duty-free shopping, medical amenities and parking facilities.

The airport provides quite a lot of connecting and direct flights weekly and covers many destinations across the world. There are several major airlines that offer non-stop flights from Frankfurt to Rome and other destinations in Europe.

All flights leaving the city operate via Frankfurt Airport. The city has a well-organized transportation system which makes the airport easily accessible. You can choose to reach the airport by booking a private taxi or getting on a public bus. However, if you have an early morning flight, a doorstep taxi service that will take you straight to the airport will be the best option for you.

By car, it takes approximately 20 minutes to get to the airport from the city center. You can also connect to the airport using the S-Bahn trains. However, you will need to buy a ticket beforehand and confirm that the departure time corresponds with your check-in time.

You can experience interesting moments visiting the museums, historical monuments and have a sweeping view of the city while on a gondola ride.

With its rich culture of music, theater and dance, the city promises a thriving nightlife in the plentiful local bars and nightclubs.
