Cheap Flights from Dubrovnik (DBV) to Zagreb (ZAG)

Dubrovnik is famous for its historic town, dramatic city walls, spectacular seafront and charming culture. It is also the site of Dubrovnik Airport, the main airport serving the city. The airport facility operates domestic and international flights within Croatia and mainly Europe. It serves over a million passengers in a year. Charter flights also take off and land at this airport which is one of the busiest in the country. It is located in Cilipi, roughly 20.5km to the south of the city. The airport features several amenities such as parking spaces for 200 cars, banks, duty-free shops, coffee shops and restaurants, ATMs and a foreign currency exchange.

If you are staying in the Old Town, the best option to go to the airport is to take a taxi from the eastern Ploce Gate. You might have to walk a while to get there as motor vehicles are not permitted in the pedestrianized center. Another solution is to head to Pile Gate and from there, get in an airport shuttle bus. Bus numbers 11 and 27 move between Dubrovnik and the airport, but also stop frequently along the way. Hence, this is not the ideal option if catching flights from Dubrovnik to Zagreb. Other means of arriving to the airport include pre-booked transfers and rental cars.

Zagreb is an easy city to traverse and, up to now, remains unspoiled from hordes of visitors to make it a very pleasant travel destination. Zagreb Airport or the Franjo Tudman International Airport is the principal airport serving the city. It is the hub for Croatia Airlines and Trade Air. To go to the city, you have the option of taking a taxi or drive off in your rental car. Taxis are metered so it is not advisable to negotiate fixed fares. There are also public transportation services organized from the airport to the city. Take 'Pleso prijevoz' to get to the Main Bus Station in Zagreb. The bus station at the airport is located outside of the international arrivals area. From downtown, you can travel within the city using trams and trains to other destinations.
