DFW is the bigger airport of the two featuring 7 runways, 165 gates and 4 terminals. It offers flights to 213 destinations. Dallas Love Field is smaller in size and operations, but is closer to downtown. It has 3 runways and processes departing/arriving passengers in its 2 terminals to 19 US destinations.

If you are on flights from Dallas to Miami, you can take the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Love link 524 that connects the Inwood/Love Field station to Dallas Love Field Airport. Adjacent to the stations are DART's Green and Orange lines that you can choose if you are headed towards Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Rental cars, limousine services and taxis are available downtown to service both airports as well as shared rides. Reaching Miami

Miami is a popular destination for jet-setters and celebrities attracted to its sunny climate, beautiful beaches, diverse restaurants, shopping and lively nightlife. As soon as you land you will be struck by the near-tropical setting in the city. Laze on Miami Beach to sunbathe or enjoy a seafood lunch in one of the many restaurants. Get to know museums, take the kids to the park or book a trip to the Everglades to immerse yourself in nature. For shoppers, there are open markets as well as many malls, such as Aventura and Dadeland, where you can spend hours browsing through all sorts of merchandise. Miami is, in this sense, a fun and enjoyable city break.

Getting to the city center

Miami International Airport (MIA) is the primary airport serving the greater Miami area. Taxis, limos and airport shuttles are offered to passengers who wish to go downtown. For public transportation, the Metro Bus (routes 7, 37, 42, 57, J, 150, 238 and 297 operate at MIA) serves most of the shopping areas, beaches, restaurants, attractions and the airport. The Miami Beach Airport Flyer bus also goes to Miami Beach at regular intervals. In addition, you have the option of taking the Miami Metrorail, an above ground rail. If your last destination is not downtown Miami, take the Tri-Rail which links Miami, Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
