Planes flying to Frankfurt arrive at Frankfurt Airport located around 12-14km from the city center; it is well-connected by bus and train. In addition, there are trams and 100 bus routes as well as several S-Bahn and U-Bahn lines. There is also a direct S-Bahn link going to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof with travel estimated at 12 minutes. From there, you can hop on other trains to connect to other parts of the city. To get to the city center from the airport, you can disembark at Frankfurt Hauptwache. Otherwise, the high quality of the road network in Germany makes driving a pleasant and convenient way to move around by rental car or taxi.
