Abu Dhabi International Airport is Abu Dhabi's main airport and international gateway. It is the second largest in the United Arab Emirates and handles flights to and from 93 destinations across the globe.
A number of major airlines operate flights to Abu Dhabi including: Etihad Airways, Turkish Airlines and British Airways.
Abu Dhabi International Airport is situated approximately 24 miles from downtown Abu Dhabi.
Passengers wishing to reach the city center by public transportation can catch the green and white A1 bus that runs from each of the three terminals to a variety of stops throughout the city. Car rental agencies are located in the Skypark Plaza in front of Terminal 3. Shuttle buses connect the different terminals. Taxis can be picked up in front of each terminal's Arrivals Hall.
