Cheap Flights from Seoul (SEL) to Jeju (CJU)

Seoul is a huge metropolis with sprawling skyscrapers. The Gimpo International Airport is around nine miles from the Central District of Seoul. The airport serves over 23 million passengers annually. There are regular flights Seoul to Jeju and other domestic destinations.

Six domestic airline carriers including Jeju Air, Korean Air and Asiana ply the Seoul to Jeju route from the airport. There are multiple services for quick check-ins to avoid delays; you can obtain a boarding pass at home by printing it out before heading to the airport or the mobile boarding pass via the airline's app on your phone or choose the kiosk boarding pass service, accessible via the machines at the airport.

You can get to Gimpo Airport using the Airport Railroad All Stop Train, picking up at Seoul Station and the journey there requires at least 35 minutes, but can be longer due to the stops at major subway stations along the route. You can catch a bus from the Express Bus Terminal Station, the Line 9 express plies the northbound route towards Gimpo International Airport.

You can also link to the Express Bus Terminal Station via the Line 7 bus from Gunja Station if you are connecting via the west-end of Seoul. The usual practice is to flag down a taxi in Seoul, so you can easily use one to access the airport.

The Jeju International Airport is the second largest in South Korea. To use public transport to get to the city center, you will usually need a loaded T-money card to pay for services. At arrivals, exiting from Gate 1 will take you to the area where different signs are indicated for bus, taxis and rentals.

You can take a city bus between Gates 1 and 2. You can check the digital screen for the arrival time of the next bus if none is waiting. For a direct transfer to your destination, take advantage of a taxi by going across the street from Gate 3 where you will have to wait your turn.
