Seattle, Washington's biggest city, is surrounded by lush evergreen forests, mountains and water. Seattle Airport, also known as SeaTac is situated 12 miles from the south of downtown Seattle. The airport has three terminals; the Main Terminal Building comprises four concourses offering various services from restaurants, shops, massage bars and more.

The North and South satellite terminals offer similar services to the Main Terminal Building. There are around five daily direct flights from Seattle to Honolulu with the trip duration being an average of 6 hours 30 minutes. There are also connecting flights via Kauai, Portland, Kahului, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The cheapest mode of transportation to SeaTac airport is through the Sound Transit Light Rail, which operates from Westlake Center downtown to the airport from Monday to Saturday within the hours of 5am to 1am, and on Sunday from 6am to midnight. The trip from the center takes around 38 minutes to the airport.

You can also use the Sound Transit express buses, Route 560 and 574, which stop at the airport. Their starting points are at Bellevue and Lakewood respectively. You can opt for a taxi to ensure a direct transfer to the airport. You must arrive at the airport at least two hours before your domestic flight.

Honolulu is a hub of tourist attractions with lots of activities to engage in throughout your stay. Waikiki beach is a signature destination for a large number of tourists with luxurious hotels and shimmering yellow sand drawing them in. Honolulu is reputed as the world's capital of surfing, so you should get on a board in one of the many surf spots on the Oahu Island.

For an experience and taste of the Oriental, you should not overlook a visit to Chinatown situated between Downtown and the residential neighborhoods of Kalihi-Palama. From the downtown streets of Honolulu, you can easily reach the Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve for a carouse with nature.

Honolulu International airport is one of the biggest and busiest in the world; it is located six miles from downtown Honolulu. There are free airport shuttles to transport you from the terminals to the gates where you can join the city buses. Bus Routes 19 and 20 go from the airport to Kalihi Kai, downtown Honolulu and end in Waikiki and Bus Route 32 westbound route begins at the airport and goes to the Kahili Transit Center. Taxis are available in front of the terminal baggage claim areas and you should spot the taxi dispatchers dressed in yellow shirts with the service inscribed on their backs.
