The train station is walking distance from the arrival hall and tickets can be bought from the vending machine or on the train.

A bus also departs from Trondheim Airport to Sorgenfriveien in the south of Trondheim. You can opt for a taxi ride to your location. There are also car rental companies' offices outside the arrival hall if you want to drive into the city.
