If you've hopped on a flight to Detroit from New York, you will touch down at the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne Country Airport. It's approximately 20 miles away from downtown. If you need public transportation to reach the city center, look for bus routes 125 and 280 that transport you to different areas in Metro Detroit. If you're heading to the Ann Arbor area, take the airRide buses from the airport. There's a free shuttle bus that transfers passengers between the two terminals and the Westin Hotel. Even if you haven't made any travel arrangements, you'll find many taxi operators and luxury sedans to choose from at the airport.
