Located on Jamaica Bay, 15 miles from midtown Manhattan, the John F. Kennedy Airport is the biggest airport in NYC handling millions of passengers and tons of cargo each year. Flights from New York to Buffalo will arrive at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. NFTA- Metro Now is the bus and rail system of the city. From the airport, you can take route 204 (Airport-Downtown Express), a non-stop service that includes stops to the Central Business District and the Metro Bus station at the center. The Metro bus also serves the airport. Look for routes 24, 27 and 68. Other alternatives for getting from the airport to downtown include taxis, shuttles, vans and limousines.
