New York City is a bustling metropolis and one of the most important cities in the world as a center for culture, arts, entertainment and finance. NYC is served by several airports with the biggest – John F. Kennedy International Airport – a major transport hub for local and international flights as well as cargo. JFK hosts more than 70 airlines and features six terminals. Another important airport serving the NYC area is LaGuardia Airport, located in Queens. It boasts modern amenities and has two runways, four terminals and around 72 airport gates. The third airport serving NYC is Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey.
