Flights from Los Angeles, CA

Los Angeles is the second largest and busiest city of America, and is home to vibrant golden beaches, beautiful and widespread cityscape second only to New York, and the most diverse forms of entertainment. Its primary airport, the LA International airport (LAX), happens to be one of the largest in the USA and the busiest in California. Terminal one is as big as the entire Long Beach airport.

Flights from LAX connect to 87 domestic and 69 international destinations. The airport is known as the gateway to the Pacific Rim and is located in Southwestern LA. It operates with nine terminals arranged in a U-shape, all connected by shuttles.

Travelling to Los Angeles, CA airport

One of the most economical ways to travel is the Metro Rail Green Line to Union station and boarding a FlyAway bus from there. The journey would cost a little above $5 and takes only 45 minutes before you can catch your flights from Los Angeles.

Local buses also offer routes to the airport but the metropolitan city's jam-prone roads make that option exhausting. Santa Monica's Big Blue Bus #3 has a stop at LAX Transit center from where the Parking Lot "C" shuttle transports passengers to the airport. Cabs are another option, albeit expensive at approximately $47 one way. Uber and Lyft are alternative options.

Reaching Miami, FL

Miami is an unforgettable place with over sixteen beautiful beaches, rolling waves, unique architecture and an effusion of diverse cultures. It's called diver's paradise for good reason and it hosts the world's coolest port, hence the nickname of 'cruise capital'. The Art Deco district of Miami is especially famous with its pastel colored buildings and wonderfully quirky architecture of old times. There's something for everyone in Miami. For those into history and architecture, The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens will be of great interest, featuring décor of 15th to 19th century and having hosted famous historical events. Those into wildlife will enjoy the Jungle Island and Seaquarium, and knowledge junkies will love the museums.

Getting to the city center

Your air tickets to Miami are your passes to an unforgettable experience through letting loose. Getting to the city center from Miami International Airport is easy and free with the MetroMover which transports passengers to Miami's rental car center and the central station. From there, you can take the Metro Rail (15mins) or the Metro Bus to go to downtown. Both of these are relatively quick and cheap, with MetroRail costing around $2. Other options are shared van services (SuperShuttle) and Uber or Lyft. Taxi services, at approximately $20 - $25 one-way, are also available at the airport.
