Boston Airport, now popularly known as Logan International Airport (BOS), is one of the 20 busiest airports of America. It is located in East Boston and caters to domestic and international flights in and out of the wider New England Area. Traveling from Boston to Miami takes around 4-5 hours by plane.
Logan International Airport serves approximately 26 million passengers a year. It houses four active terminals (A, B, C, E) with six hubs. The terminals are connected through moving walkways, shuttles, and the MBTA Silver Line.
There are 106 cities all over the world with nonstop flights from Boston. The Logan International Airport is thus very busy and very easily accessible from the city, being only 3 miles from downtown. One of the best ways is the MBTA's Silver Line SL-1 from the terminals to South Station in the financial district of downtown Boston. From there, you can take Amtrak, Acela, MBTA rapid transit, and MBTA commuter rail to other destinations. MBTA also provides a water shuttle to downtown Boston, and trains also leave from Airport Station. Shared van services and taxis are also considerable options to the airport.
