Oslo Vacation

About Oslo

Oslo, Norway's capital, is home to a thousand years of turbulent history which visitors can discover. It was only renamed Oslo relatively recently, in 1925, before which it had changed names on more than one occasion. Oslo suffered a bad fire in 1624 which destroyed much of the city. The ruined area was mostly abandoned and rebuilding took place on a different site. Today, the city has plenty of attractions, museums, restaurants and more to reward visitors at the end of a flight to Oslo.
