Getting to the city center
Flights to Miami from Denver land at Miami International Airport, which is located just 13 kilometers from Downtown Miami. Hop on Metrorail's Orange Line to reach Downtown Miami, Coconut Grove and other tourist destinations. Metrorail is the easiest way to get to various destinations in Miami from the airport, and it takes just 15 minutes to reach downtown. If you are heading toward South Beach, take the Airport Flyer bus, which stops at Lincoln Road in the South Beach area. Taxis and shuttles operate on a fixed rate basis to South Beach and Downtown. The airport is also served by Tri-Rail, the city's mass transit system.
