baggage claim took nearly 1 hour checking in 1 extra bag took 20 minutes will never fly Easy Jet again
Very user friendly and fast. A small delay in the flight. It would be better if you could drop bags more in advance than the 2hours before the flight.
Easyjet denied me boarding because they overbooked their flight causing me the cancellation of the two day business trip that I had planned. I rate them "0". They carelessly sell more seats that they have available.
I read bad reviews about check in being a nightmare. Everything went very smoothly while I was there. Staff was efficient and friendly, no complaints all around.
Easy jet didn't inform me about my flight at 11:20 am being cancelled before. I found out a bout this when I came to the airport at 8:45 am. I had to wait for another flight at 8:10 pm but the plane did not start flying until 8:50 pm. Therefore I h ad to wait at airport for. 9 hrs. When I arrived to Nice airport, there was no buses left & I had to take the taxi to my hotel, which cost me 31 euros more!
There must be a better way to board than lining up with no chairs for long periods of time waiting for the plane to be ready.
I was pleasantly surprised how well it all went. We flew on Easyjet for the first time from Milan to Paris and it was all good.
I was told at check-in my purse and carry on were fine, then was charged 55 Euros at the gate to check my carry on! The flight was ok, but I am very unlikely to EVER fly EasyJet again. Harrumph!
Why was I only allowed one carry-on bag and was not allowed to bring a personal item of a small book bag!?
EasyJet was fantastic! I wish we had them in the US. Everything was great...the flight, the seats, the food (much better offerings than what we get in the US)...everything was nice and easy!
Overall the flight was fine. The flight attendants were grumpy and had a bad attitude when I asked for water. They were even more upset when I didn't finish it.
I flew with easyjet often. They usually send email to remind you to check in. I intended to check in 1 luggage online. For some reason when I received the email, the system showed that I have already checked in a luggage. I couldnt remember whether or not I had checked in since I booked my flight three months in advance. At the airport I was required to pay for the check in. This was still an OK. I assumed perhaps I forgot to check in my luggage online. However, I had one carry on luggage and my handbag. I passed the security check and I was told that all the body creams that I carried in my carry on luggage must be thrown away. I do recognize that these are international laws and its for our own safety. But the employee of the aircraft at the check in desk didnt ask me or remind me of that. In the US they usually ask at the chekc in desk and they remind the passengers to take out any liquids in the carry on luggage so it would not be confiscated from them. I chose to let go of the body creams and throw them away rather than to go back to the check in desk and pay additional costs for them. When I left the security, I found out that the security officer "by mistake" "forgot" my boarding pass next to the scanner. Luckily, I was only few steps away when I discovered that I dont have the boarding pass. The security officer was not even aware that the boarding pass was on his desk !!. It was hard to believe it. This happened in Rome. They also dont speak English except one officer so you can imagine the hassle. When I arrived at the gate, I was asked to put my hand bag inside the carry on luggage because only one piece is allowed on board. This was beyond belief. Many passengers had two and three small pieces like hand bags and laptops and they were not required to step aside and put their bags inside the carry on luggage before boarding. This is in addition to the intensity and nervousness of the crew who are Italian employees. Its not exactly a pleasure to deal wit...
Very nice experience on the whole. My first time, wasn't sure what to expect, but the staff was courteous and the quality of plane and service outstanding.
Your price was + 18% more than Easyjet direct, as I have always done in the past. In addition, I lost the plane because I have not been advised that the Telepass Parking in front of Terminal 2 was not in use, so I had of find a parking at Terminal 1 and had to wait for a transfer bus: lost 140€. Never, never again
Had to pay for baggage. Vueling did not charge us any extra for the same amount on our trip from Paris to Rome.
Nice in the plane in at the flight. we were invited to emergency row sits. Boarding process terrible
The website and online check in process is atrocious. I booked in the US and then wanted to pay for "hold luggage" online. First the site is hard to navigate (and customer service doesn't answer) but then when I got to payment, it would not let me pay because now I was in Europe and this was a different currency from my original payment.
I could't get the flight they said no reservation for me so I bought another ticket it is too bad they sent me payment confirmation with my Visa card I want to know please what to do I reserve my right waiting your kind answer Best regards
Horrible experience with EasyJet. The plane was late to arrive, and then no information was given to the passengers about its late arrival. Finally we were able to board, but it was everyone rushing the gate to get onto the plane rather than in any semblance of order.
It is a long flight in the back row in a tight, uncomfortable seat that does not even go back and there is no complimentary beverage at all. The worst part was the check in with not allowing even your purse to be just standard, but instead counts as your bag. So then you must transfer your purse to your bag and that leaves you with your valuables in no protected space.
We did not realize you could not have a purse in addition to your carry on luggage. Staff were very rude about it. This system works for people traveling for just a few days but not when you are traveling for two weeks in the winter months. Also, the beverage/food card sped past without stopping. I think they should have included a flag at your seat so you could flag them down. Just wanted water and they tried to charge us for bottles until we didn't have enough cash and they wouldn't take cards for that small of an amount. When it was clear we didn't want to buy more to up our total they told us we could have cups of water for free. As for the question about which class you traveled, there was only one class. Everyone was treated equally as bad.
Easy Jet - women should be able to bring a handbag and a carry on. extra charges for scale/weight are ridiculous. Flew into Gatwick, landed in no-man's land of North Terminal, took over one hour to get to baggage claim, lines/queues ridiculous. need more airport staff to guide passengers to customs, people shoving and cutting the lines. no toilets. can't imagine being handicapped, elderly, pregnant, or disabled in any way and flying into gatwick.there should be priority care for those people. felt like cows being herded.
Tell your flight attendants that the Greenline and National Express bus lines are different - they told me they were the SAME thing . I purchased a ticket for the Greenline and found out that it was not usable since it was actually for the National Express line. I had to spend ANOTHER L10 for a second ticket.
Excellent flights. I bought the tickets early in the season and the price turned out to be too high.
Overall good experience However, the hand luggage limitations were too strict and inconvenient. I have a small roller bag and a handbag and I was not allowed to carry my hand bag!!!
Overall, considering the time if year we were traveling, easy Jet was fast and efficient, as well,as the Venice Marco Polo security system. Hats off to both Easy Jet and Marco Polo Airport.
